DOCUMENTATION NEEDED
(all in English only)
- Valid Passports
- Original or certified copy or certified translation of birth certificate.
- Original Decree Absolute (or certified copy or certified translation) if divorced.
- Statutory declaration signed by a Justice of Peace or Notary Public or Solicitor to prove single status. This declaration only applies to applicants who were previously married, and to declare current marital status to be single if divorce has been granted in the last 5 years.
- Death certificate & wedding certificate if spouse died.
- Consent of the father if under the age of 21 years or consent of the mother if father is deceased.
The following applies only to applicants from Asia (i.e. Japan, China, India, etc.)
- Applicants from Asia are to apply one month in advance for their marriage.
- Confirmatory letter on current status to be obtained from marriage
Registry where the applicant resides or statutory declaration signed by a
Justice of Peace or Notary Public or Solicitor to prove single status. This declaration only applies to applicants who were previously married, and to confirm current marital status if divorce has been granted in the last 5 years.
We require a minimum 5-night stay for the wedding party.
The wedding may not be held on a Sunday.
Time to visit the Registry Office on Taveuni must be allowed.
The office is closed on public holidays and weekends.
Prices are Net Rates and include all government taxes.
