Our eager staff will meet you at Taveuni airport just after your 75-minute flight from the International Airport in Nadi and only 5 minutes later the Maravu magic begins. The legend of Lake Tagimaucia long ago cast its spell on Taveuni. This Mountain Lake is tucked away a thousand meters above sea level in the heart of the island and is named after a rare plant that grows only in the vicinity of the lake. It can be found climbing up around the trunks of the rain forest trees, and the story of how it first came into being goes like this ...
